Holkirk Communications required an engaging and informative way to showcase the setup process of their portable VSAT satellite system. The goal was to highlight the product’s tool-free assembly, compact transport design, and ease of deployment — key advantages for field operations and mobile communication setups.
A detailed 3D assembly animation was developed using Holkirk’s CAD data to accurately visualise the product’s engineering and assembly sequence. The use of 3D animation allowed for complete creative control over angles, timing, and detail — clearly demonstrating how the unit assembles and disassembles into two lightweight, wheeled cases under 29kg. The result balanced technical precision with visual clarity, making it suitable for both marketing and technical audiences.
The finished animation delivered a versatile, high-quality asset used across exhibitions, presentations, and digital marketing. It successfully communicated the VSAT’s intuitive design and robust construction, reducing the need for live demonstrations while increasing audience understanding and engagement.
