SCARAB combines a number of technical features and configurations within a compact portable system. While specifications can explain what the product is capable of, they don't always make it easy for a potential customer to quickly understand the product, how it operates or what differentiates it.
The challenge was to translate this engineering information into clear visual content — without oversimplifying the product or relying on lengthy technical explanations.

Starting with the engineering CAD, the product was prepared for visualisation before developing materials, lighting and a consistent studio environment.
Rather than creating individual visuals in isolation, the project was built around a single accurate 3D foundation. This allowed still renders, animations and technical views to share the same materials, proportions and visual language.
The result was a consistent visual system that could be expanded as new marketing requirements emerged.

Animation was used where static imagery alone couldn't tell the full story.
Dedicated feature animations isolate key functions and movements, helping viewers understand how individual parts of the SCARAB operate without the surrounding engineering complexity getting in the way.
Exploded views take this a step further, separating the product into its key assemblies to clearly communicate how the system is constructed and how its components relate to one another.
Together, these assets turn complex engineering information into visual content that can be understood quickly by both technical and non-technical audiences.

The final result is more than a collection of individual renders and animations.
By building every asset from the same accurate 3D foundation, SCARAB now has a consistent library of visual content that can be reused across product launches, sales presentations, datasheets, websites, exhibitions and social media.
As new campaigns or requirements emerge, the existing 3D asset can also be returned to and expanded — creating new content without having to start the visualisation process again.
